Social Services and Healthcare SVQs
Social Services and Health Care qualifications cover care workers, personal assistants, domiciliary care workers community, support and outreach workers, supervisors, senior care workers in adult social care and for example healthcare assistants or clinical support workers in the health sector. It's suitable for those working in the NHS, with private health care or social care providers, local authorities and voluntary organisations. 
Social Services & Healthcare Level 2 (SCQF Level 6)
This SVQ is suitable for individuals who are currently in employment and who wish to obtain a formal qualification.The target audience for the SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare are people who are support workers in care home services for adults. It is a requirement by the SSSC that everyone employed in this capacity should be working towards achievement of this qualification.

This qualification takes around 6-9 months to complete.

This SVQ is suitable for individuals who are currently in employment and who wish to obtain a formal qualification or people who are employed in the health and social care sector in a supervisory role.

This qualification takes around 12 months to complete.

This SVQ is suitable for individuals who are currently in employment and who wish to obtain a formal qualification or people who are employed in the health and social care sector in a senior and/or management role.

Care Services Leadership and Management at Level 4 (SCQF Level 10)
The SVQ in Care Services Leadership and Management at SCQF Level 10 has been designed to meet the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration requirements for care managers. It has been designed to provide a robust and certificated qualification which equips individuals with a range of knowledge, skills and values to enable them to take on the leadership and management challenges facing care services today.

Rewards is an established training provider, working with Skills Development Scotland. As a result, we can offer funding toward the cost of apprenticeship training, depending on the age of the employee/apprentice and the sector. If you are not eligible for SDS Apprenticeship Funding, ITA Funding may be available.
