This unit has 2 learning outcomes
  • 1. Understand the Forces for Change in an Organisation
    • Identify the forces that may require the learner's organisation to change by conducting a simple PESTLE or SWOT analysis
  • 2. Know How to Identify and Plan Change in an Organisation
    • Reflecting on the SWOT or PESTLE analysis to look at an example of change required in the workplace
    • Identify relevant human and financial factors in the consideration of planning change within the context of the example 
    • The role of communication in facilitating effective change
    • Using a technique for planning change within the given context
  • What is an ILM Unit?

    This management unit can be undertaken on its own and is ILM accredited.


    However, this unit can also be built up to an ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management at a later date, if you wish.


    This unit is worth 2 ILM credits. To achieve an Award the learner would be required to have a minimum of 4 credits.
