ILM Level 2 Award in Effective Mentoring Skills

Who is this qualification for?

Suitable for those looking to gain and develop their mentoring knowledge and skills. Individuals will learn to undertake effective mentoring in a range of situations, such as an organisation, the voluntary sector, community groups, etc.

This qualification has 2 units
  • 1. Understanding Mentoring
    • This unit helps learners to develop an understanding of the role and nature of mentoring.
  • 2. Developing Mentoring Skills
    • This unit will enable learners to undertake mentoring, reflect on their performance and identify areas for improvement.

Delivery

4 sessions (2 sessions per unit) delivered online through Zoom. Joining instructions will be sent to you prior to the course starting.

This qualification is approved for up to £200 ITA funding depending on eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Aged 16 or over
  • Not in education or involved in any other SDS funded programme
  • Unemployed and looking to get back into work
  • Currently employed and earning less than £22,000 per year
  • Resident in Scotland

Cost

£650+VAT. Includes ILM registration fee, personal induction, tutorial support and all training materials.
