MANAGEMENT AT SCQF LEVEL 9
About this SVQ:
This is for practising middle managers who have responsibility for allocating work, achieving specific results, carrying out policy, controlling limited financial budgets and contributing to organisational change and recruitment.
This qualification takes 12-18 months to complete.
This Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) is awarded by Qualifications Scotland and consists of mandatory units and optional units. The range of optional units to choose from, enables the qualification to be tailored to meet both business requirements and the employees specific areas of development.
Mandatory units:
- Develop Operational Plans
- Provide Leadership in Your Area of Responsibility
- Develop and Sustain Productive Working
- Relationships with Stakeholders
- Manage Business Processes
The Process:
The learner will work towards building their e-portfolio with full support being provided by Rewards throughout the qualification, visiting the workplace to meet with the learner. Progress will be reviewed at visits and we will seek the managers input and feedback as part of this. The e-portfolio allows the candidate to easily submit work and communicate with their assessor remotely, in between face to face visits.
