As Tool box talks are a regular part of the job, this short session will focus on making them as effective and interactive as possible. It will cover key skills that will give you the confidence to deliver Tool box talks.

• Structuring your talk with the end result in mind.
• Creating clear benefits for your audience.
• The use of positive body language.
• How to control your nerves.
• How to handle question and answer sessions.
• How to deal with an awkward audience.

Course Activities

There will be opportunities to practise using TBT to build both your competence and your confidence.
